‘Whispers of the Wood’

Whispers of the Wood is a personal project that focuses on one of the magical childhood wonders that comes to life. Through dreamy costumes, vivid colours and playful experimentation with makeup, the imagination of fairies comes to life. This personal project is a celebration of fairies and fantasy, and a reminiscing on the feeling of being young and full of imagination. It invites you to reconnect with the delicate, whimsical parts of yourself where the child within you still lives and finds joy in the simplest wonders.

This personal project is inspired by a cherished childhood memory. Some of my happiest and most vivid moments come from playing dress-up with friends, where we brought imaginary characters to life. Among them, dressing as fairies was always a favourite. Running freely through the countryside in our costumes remains one of my most joyful and nostalgic memories, making it the perfect inspiration for this project.
